    Hi All,

This should be fun and a great learning tool!
And, after all, practise makes perfect - especially if there is a, ‘Spell correct’

    Qoute for today:

‘Birthdays are nature’s way of telling us to eat more cake.” - Anonymous.

I reckon Thursday is the MUGS ‘birth’ day so should we bring some cake?

    Bye for now,

    Annette

    Hi all,

Nice to see people already using the website
The suggested program for the next few meetings will be published soon.
If any body needs OS or any other updates without using their download allocation, Darren and I have them on CD.
Bring a memory stick or blank CD R to the next meeting

And yes, if anybody wishes, bring a cake too!

Hello all. My name is Pauline and I have been using Mac computers for about 9 years I think. My first Mac was a purple iMac using OS 8.6 and a 300mhz processor with a 6GB HD. It was soon upgraded to 80GB and I still have it around here some place although the 80GB HD has been removed and replaced with a 20Gb HD, the 80 being put into another iMac with a 500 Mhz processor which is also still around and being used…and both running OS 3.9! I also own a clamshell iBook running OS 3.9 with a 40GB HD and an eMac running OS 10.4 andmy most recent purchases are a new desktop iMac with 4GB RAM and 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 350GB HD and a black MacBook with same processor as the iMac and 2GB RAM and 250 GB HD…hate to crow but I am also the proud owner of several iPods …think I fit in to the Mac users category fairly well and would love to belong.

    Hi Annette,
Yes a good laugh is great, it releases endorphins and reduces stress chemicals.
Not sure that a long sleep is good, they say max 6-8 hrs now.
