Welcome to Hervey Bay Mac Users Group
*NO Meetings in April due to Easter
Mac users helping other Mac users. That’s what Mac User Groups are about. Our meetings are more of a social gathering of people who also enjoy using Mac computers. You will find helpful, friendly and knowledgeable Mac enthusiasts at our meetings
The Group was formed in May 2008. We hold two meetings each month. Please see the Meetings Page for venue details. With our members’ combined knowledge, we can usually quickly solve most problems and queries. Many of our members have switched from Windows and have found that the Mac is simpler to use, and leads to a more relaxed experience. We have many female members, so ladies should feel right at home. At our meetings, you will find a very friendly atmosphere, our aim is to make everybody feel at ease regardless of their level of expertise. Mac Computers are the fastest growing brand of Personal Computers in the world as more and more people discover their ease of use, stability, reliability, build quality, longevity and value for money.
Apple and Mac News, Tips and Tricks are presented, and each month to time we have presentations by members or guests on various topics that are of interest to members. A Newsletter containing News, Features, Reviews and Tips and some fun is emailed to members weekly.
If you currently use an Mac, or are thinking of buying one, you are most welcome to join our group. There are no joining or annual fees, so why not come along and chat with other Mac users. Any level of expertise is welcome, and if you are switching from Windows, you are especially welcome. More info here
